Domaine d’Anghione

Domaine d’Anghione sits on Corsica’s north‑east coast at Castellare‑di‑Casinca, with low mountains behind and the Mediterranean close at hand. The medium‑sized campsite feels deliberately family‑focused: accommodation is a mix of mobile homes and apartments, and the layout gives quick access between pitches, pool terraces and the beach. Dogs are welcome.

Water is the main draw here. The aquatic complex includes an outdoor pool, a covered outdoor pool and a separate paddling pool for little ones, plus a sun terrace for supervising children. The shoreline beside the campsite is sandy, with easy opportunities for swimming, snorkelling and summer paddle sports; kayak hire is available in the high season.

Facilities cover everyday needs and evening entertainment. There’s a restaurant‑bar with a terrace and takeaway service, a creperie and an ice‑cream stall, on‑site bakery and laundry facilities. Sports options range from ball games and boules to an outdoor fitness area, while an organised kids club and live evening shows keep younger visitors occupied.

Bastia is the most obvious day trip from the campsite, offering a compact old town, harbour and cultural sites to explore. The northeast coast in this part of Corsica remains relatively quiet, with a string of fishing villages and beaches to visit if you want a change of scene from the campsite shoreline.

Inland, the landscape turns green and wooded, with walking trails that suit short hikes and longer rambles alike. The local area offers a range of outdoor options commonly pursued here, from canyoning and river rafting to climbing and 4×4 excursions, while coastal waters are used for snorkelling and summer paddle sports.
