Set on the sunny southern side of Corsica in Sainte‑Lucie de Porto‑Vecchio, Acqua e Sole is a small, family-oriented campsite tucked between the mountains and the sea. The site has around 200 pitches and a relaxed, sociable atmosphere; its compact footprint makes it easy to get from the accommodation to the pools, playground and restaurant.
The campsite’s water facilities are a clear focus: a main pool with twisty waterslides and a separate paddling pool for younger children sit within a terrace area that looks towards the surrounding hills. Onsite activities range from aqua aerobics and water polo to outdoor sports such as basketball, volleyball and boules, while a mini club runs activities for children.
Practical facilities include a restaurant‑pizzeria with a shaded terrace, bar, bakery, small grocery point, takeaway and laundry. The campsite accepts dogs and is positioned for days at the beach or excursions into the Corsican interior — the nearest shore is under 5 km away and Porto‑Vecchio is the nearest town for shops and restaurants.
Acqua e Sole’s strengths are its family focus and its water offering. The pool complex and children’s programme should keep younger guests entertained, and the site’s size makes it straightforward to navigate with small children. The presence of a restaurant, bakery and grocery point means basic needs are covered without leaving the parc.
The trade‑offs are predictable: it is not a seaside parc, so you will need a short drive to reach the better beaches, and as a small, lively campsite it will feel busier in peak weeks than a more secluded retreat. For travellers seeking an active family holiday with easy access to Porto‑Vecchio and the island’s southern beaches, it is a sensible, practical base.

The southern Corsica location places some of the island’s best‑known beaches within easy reach: Pinarellu, Saint Cyprien and Cala Rossa are all commonly visited from Sainte‑Lucie de Porto‑Vecchio. The nearest beach to the parc is stated as under 5 km away, and the bay of Porto‑Vecchio is noted for snorkelling and diving opportunities.
Porto‑Vecchio itself has a 16th‑century citadel overlooking an old town and a waterfront of cafés and restaurants, offering a contrast to the campsite’s quieter evenings. Inland, the Alta Rocca range is a short drive away (around 20 minutes by car according to the parc information) and provides options for walking, horse riding and other mountain activities.
